As heartbreaking as “Loss” was, I was still very happy to see the Red Lanterns again. And we even got to see Cleric Loran! :D
And I got to thinking about Cleric Loran, and you know something that I really love about him? He has stained glass windows in his church. I mean, if I were to imagine what religion for Red Lanterns would be like, I’d think of some freaky, horrific, exotic crap like Atrocitus in the comics with his blood prophecies or something. But, no, Cleric Loran has pretty stained glass windows in his church. Because Church of Rage is just like regular church. But with Rage. I love it… So here’s a typical service at the Church of Rage. ;D
BTW, I won’t always have time to color these comics. It depends on how long they are and how much time I have. But I will color them whenever I can.
Well, here’s a little Razaya moment for ya, fanterns. I know Sinestro kinda ruins it, but Hal made things all better, right? haha
I was on the fence about whether or not I wanted to tag this comic because after searching through the Razer and Aya tags, it seemed to me that Sinestro and Hal in my comic here are voicing two sides of the fandom! I wasn’t aware that some have been hating on Razer and Aya on those tags and I didn’t want anyone to think that I was siding with Sinestro on this one. But views expressed by characters here do not necessarily reflect those of the creator. I’ve mentioned before that I wished people would talk about other characters just as much, but I still like Razer and Aya.:) And to anyone who is being mean to people over these characters, well, Hal with his cheese sandwich says stop being a Sour Sinny!
I thought I’d let y’all know what is behind my shenanigans with these comics. You’ll be seeing one from me every week because I have challenged myself to draw a short comic based on each week’s episode of GLTAS for the rest of the season. And I’m doing a comic no matter what, even if I don’t have the best idea, I’m still drawing it. And this is because I really want to learn to draw comics but haven’t because I keep waiting to get some good ideas for comics. But I’ve realized that if I keep waiting to get inspired, I’m never going to start drawing comics.:P But with these short GLTAS comic, I at least have the material in each show as a jumping off point to help me come up with some ideas.
And if anyone has an idea for a GLTAS comic that you’d like to see me draw, then drop it in my ask box, I’m open for suggestions. :) Keeping in mind, of course, that I only have time to do a short comic. And also, keep in mind, this comic is about as shippy as I ever want to get with these comics (You don’t want to read my “romantic” dialog, trust me. lol).
